Jazz Girls Day at BHS this weekend

9th Annual JazzGirls Day is THIS SATURDAY, March 7th, 1 - 5 p.m. at Berkeley High School

All Bay Area girls ages 10 - 14 interested in/ curious about playing jazz are invited to the 9th annual Berkeley High School JazzGirls Day. This is a FREE event with wonderful female professional jazz musicians running clinics, a jam session, panel discussion, and Berkeley High's JazzGirls will perform and mentor younger students. There will also be a raffle for scholarships to local summer jazz camps! It's an inspiring welcome into the jazz world. So ... bring your instrument (woodwinds, brass, pianists, guitar players, bassists, drummers, vocalists and string players welcome!), and come out to Berkeley High School -- Allston Way between MLK Blvd and Milvia Street.
